Lush 'Whoosh' Shower Jelly Review...

I actually received this a while ago as a gift from one of my lovely friends. Before receiving this product, I haven't before tried any of the Lush shower Jellies, although each time I have been in the shop I have been very interested as they look so cool!

This the Whoosh Shower jelly and it is made with Lemon, Lime and Rosemary. The scent is very fresh and defiantly has a strong citrus scent to it.
The jelly itself is just as you would expect, it being called a shower jelly and all. I was quite pleasantly surprised at how well the shower jelly lathered up too!

I really love the little description on the front of the tub, "Whoosh was named after the sound of deadline whizzing by. Useful for renewed focus when tired, jet lagged or revising for exams." I just thought this description of this shower jelly was so funny and very true as the scent is so very refreshing.

The 100g pot of this is £3.50 and the 240g is £6.95. And there is also a Sweetie Pie Cherry scent, which I really want to try!

Have you tried any of the Lush Shower Jellies??

Rimmel Scandal Eyes- Rockin' Curves

This is the newest Rimmel mascara to hit the shelves and the newest addition to my make-up collection. It really feel like Rimmel have a new mascara out all the time, which I think would be quite confusing for anyone trying to choose a new mascara for the first time!

The Curved brush as suggested in the title, 'Rockin' Curves,' is something new and may take a while getting used to. The brush as well, I will add is quite big and thick, so for those of you who do not like big mascara wands or brushes I would not recommend this for you! I however, actually like the mascara with bigger brush, they always seem to work well with giving a bit of mush needed length and volume to me short eyelashes!

Volume they said. 'No clumps' they said.

Well both of those statements weren't exactly true. The brush did have a lot of product on it the first time I used it, and it did make my eyelashes look a little clumpy. Actually I think that is putting is mildly, there was a lot of product and loads of clumping! I found it very hard to coat my lashes without having them overly coated in mascara!

I didn't see a lot of difference to the volume of my lashes, but my lashes did look a little longer from using this product, compared to other small brush mascara. Also they in the description said it gives volumes to inner lashes because of the brush. Granted I did find it sightly more easy with with angle of brush to coat my inner lashes with the product, but it didn't give the effect I thought it was going to give.

So Try or Miss? I think unless you are dying to try this product out, give it a miss at least for now as the price is not really worth the product in my opinion.

Nivea Happy Time Orange Blossom // Get Some Happiness!

Hello there!

I have been loving this Nivea Happy Time shower cream. This shower cream is the Orange Blossom one and smells amazing! It has such a strong and fresh citrus scent, I feel totally awakened by this product. This shower cream one of the freshest fruity scents that is powerful at the same time, which is hard to find in most shower gel and shower washes.

Containing bamboo milk, this shower cream gives an instant soft feeling which when applied in your skin is incredible. It is the most soothing, softening and skin-caring shower product I have ever used!

There are many other scents within this Nivea shower cream collection and I can't wait to try some others!

Have you tried any of the Nivea Shower cream?

Tresemme' Salon Silk Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I have been using Tresemme' haircare products for a while now. However a few months ago, I switched from the normal, original Tresemme' shampoo and conditioner to the Salon Silk products.

You can purchase these shampoos from many shops and outlets. I usually purchase mine from Superdrug, where it is £4.99 for a 900 ml bottle of product.

I love how these products, especially the conditioner, leaves my hair feeling super soft and really healthy looking, Not only that my hair was left very smooth and nourished looking. The more I use these products, the softer and better conditioned my hair is looking and feeling!
I would recommend using these Tresemme' Salon Silk Shampoos and Conditioners, for those who have dry or hair that is prone to friz.

Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel...

This is the Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel from Vichy Laboratories. This particular product is part of the Normaderm category by Vichy, which is their anti-imperfection range.

I have been using this cleansing gel for a while and it is now an essential part of my skin care routine. I use this product once in the morning and once in the evening, to wash away excess dirt and make-up.

Vichy products are available from Boots, which is where I usually purchased this Cleansing gel. For a 200ml bottle of the Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel  it is £7.87 and I have found that one bottle of this product has lasted me quite a good length of time.

My skin feel completely clean and refreshed after using this cleansing gel. And the appearance of my skin, as far as spots and blemishes are concerned, has improved greatly since beginning to use it.

Have you tried any Vichy Products???

Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Nail Polish Review

(From left to right) Frutti Petutie Mermaid's Tale Pedal to the Medal)

So today I thought I would review these Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail polishes. I purchased two of these nail polishes from Superdrug a while back and the other (Pedal to the Medal) I received as a gift.

Each of these nail polishes are £6.99, which I suppose is quite expensive compared to other brands and nail polishes. However they are quite big bottles and have actually lasted ages!

My favourite is the Mermaid's tale, not just because of it's name, but the blue and green flakes go so well together, which I think creates such a cool effect!

What do you think of these Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Nail Polishes???
Have you tried any of the shades?

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Review...

When I wear my foundation my skin can look a little oily, much to my annoyance! So using a pressed powder or setting powder is most certainly a must for me! I have actually tried quite a number of pressed powders from different brands in the past.

With this product, I brought it out with me once, but when I checked my make-up (to my surprise) I did not need to touch it up! My make-up looked the same from when I had first put it on 3 hours previous! And in my books this was very impressive, especially for my skin type!
This product actually states that it is good for 'up to % hours shine control,' and I would say in my opinion this statement would be quite accurate.

I would say that if you did reapply this product, it may become caked looking. This can happen with many pressed powders if they are over applied, but with this product and it lasting power you really won't have worry about re-applying it!

This Rimmel powder is actually £3.99 from Superdrug. Which I actually think is a reasonable price for, in my opinion, a great quality product.

Nivea Pure& Natural Moisturising Day Cream Review...

I purchased this Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream from Superdrug a little while go. I have used a couple of Nivea skin care products in the past, as they really are brilliant moisturisers! I also find that they really work well to keep my skin looking healthy and moisturised.

During the winter months my skin really dries out and this product has really helped my skin to to become properly moisturised. When I am not planning on wearing make-up a tend to use a lot more if this product. And after applying it, I haven't have any problems putting make-up on, on top on it.

I know that a lot of people don't like some Nivea products as they can at times make your skin too oily, however my skin is quite dry that this really isn't a problem for me!

What is your favourite essential skin product??

EcoTools Flawless Face Set Review...

Eco-tools make-up brushes are one of my favourite products/ companies as they're brilliant quality and really do stand the test of time! So when I saw that I had received this Flawless Face brush Set I was one very happy girl!!

So the brushes included in this set are (from front to back)

-Flat Concealer
-Precision Foundation
-Buffing Concealer
-Complexion Blending
-Full Powder

I really love all of the brushes, but my favourite brushes are the Flat Concealer and the Full Powder. The Flat concealer is brilliant for applying concealer in areas which need more attention for example under eyes and around the nose area. The Full powder brush is absolutely brilliant as I have the full size of this brush, and now I don't have to carry the it with me, I can now pop this little brush into my bag!

I love the idea of having these brushes in my make-up bag instead of carrying around big, full size brushes! They are cute, compact and do the job just as we'll as their bigger siblings!!

Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub Review...

Before purchasing this product I hadn't actually tried any of Lush facial products, mainly because I usually stick to my normally Vichy, Simple or Nivea skin care products. However that day I was in the Lush shop, I must have been feeling adventurous to take the plunge and purchase this Ocean Salt Facial scrub.

My skin type is very indecisive at times depending on the weather and etc. So at times my skin is oily and other times it is very, very dry! Now I normally don't use Face scrub very often, as I also think they are going to be too rough or harsh on my skin.

However this is not the case with this Lush product. The texture is less hard, but more of a grainy texture. After using this product my skin felt so soft and smooth, I was quite surprised. My skin felt fresh and completely clean and at the same time was not dry at all!

The mixed turquoise and light blue, makes this product look as amazing as it smells! This product is made with organic limes, coarse sea salt and grapefruit infusion. The scent is so fresh and exotic, you feel like your being whisked away to an exotic beach on an island!

Price: At the minute this product is £7.25 for 120g and £13.25 for 250g

Have you tried the Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub???

Trying Bourjois...

This is my first time trying any Bourjois products, even though I have always wanted to try these little blush pots each time I walked past them in Superdrug! So just before Christmas, I thought I would treat myself and splurge on three of the Blushes. I say splurge because even thought some may purchase these Blushes all the time, I usually stick to a cheaper blusher from Rimmel so these Bourjois Blushes are slightly more expensive that what I am normally used to!

The three shade I chose were, (from left to right) 54 Rose Frisson, 37 Rose Pompon and 03 Brun Cuivre. The shade of Blush I normally wear for my everyday make-up look is a pink or slightly dark pink shade. I used to wear a darker brown shade, but looking back on it now it defiantly did not suit my skin tone!

So, I opted for these three shade, the 54 Rose Frisson and the 37 Rose Pompon were choices I didn't even have to think about! They are gorgeous shades and exactly what I was looking for in a Blush shade.

So have you tried any Bourjois Blushes??
 What are your favourite shades???

Murine Bright & Moist eyes Review...

Hello there!

Today I thought I would do a quick review on Murine Bright and moist eye-drops. I first heard of this product when I was watching one of Lauren Luke's make-up tutorials on Youtube. She was raving about this product and how it was a fantastic product to moisten and brighten your eyes.

The main reasoning behind me purchasing this product was because I always seem to have dry and sometimes itchy eyes and I thought that using this product it would help. Before this product I had never used any kind of eye-drops and I was slightly scared about not being able to actually put them in my eyes.

Since buying and using this product a couple of weeks ago I have noticed a vast improvement in the looks and feel of my eyes. I have since purchased a couple more bottle of this product, as I can;t do without it now!

I would certainly recommend it for anyone who has dry or easily irritated eyes, or who wants a brighter eyes look.

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Nail Treatment (Quick) Review...

Confession time...I have a terrible habit. A habit of biting my nails. (DUNDUNDUN...) Okay so it might not be a big deal to many people as lots and lots of people do it....but the thing it I HATE IT!

It isn't the act itself I hate, but I really can't stand my nails being really short. As I have this dislike for my nails being short I often wear fake nails, but sadly after removing my fake nails just the other day I found my real nails to be terrible condition...broken, short and very unhealthy looking.

After searching for nail products to help repair my nails, I stumbled upon this Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Nail Treatment in Boots.
It was the 'Maximum Growth' part of this product which really caught my eye and I instantly began picturing my nails grown long and super healthy.

I have only been using this for a couple of weeks now, but I have already notice how much stronger my naul shave become. Which actually surprised me as my nails are usually very brittle and prone to breaking very easily!
