My Christmas 2013...

Hello There!!!

Did you all have a wonderful Christmas.. I certainly did!

I hope you all had a lovely celebrating Christmas and the Holidays with your family, friends and those you love! I love Christmas time, the wrapping of presents, the music... and of course the food (although now I feel like an over-stuffed bird!)

Here are some of the make-up and beauty related products I received as lovely Christmas presents.

I was very excited to receive the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and even though the Naked Palette 3 came out, I have been wanting Naked 2 for quite some time because of the shades included.

I can't wait to test out my new hair curlers...(Goodness know I needed a new pair!) and the mini set of Eco-tools brushes, which I think are the cutest brushes ever!

An Early Gift....

As part of my secret Santa present I received from my University house-mate, I got this gorgeous Soap and Glory bath and shower gift set. The set is the Soap & Glory Bright and Bubbly Original Pink Gift Set, which includes a shower gel, body cream, a body buffer and hand cream.

This was actually my first time ever using any Soap and Glory products....I know...shocking! So I was very eager and excited to try out all of these products. I was very happy when I saw how pink everything was...definitely my cup of tea! The box is very cute and I will most certainly find another use for it!

This gorgeous gift set is available for £10 from Boots and it makes a lovely present.
I thought I would share the link for this product here Link, from the Boots website, for those of you still needing inspiration for Christmas Ideas.

Murine Bright & Moist eyes Review...

Hello there!

Today I thought I would do a quick review on Murine Bright and moist eye-drops. I first heard of this product when I was watching one of Lauren Luke's make-up tutorials on Youtube. She was raving about this product and how it was a fantastic product to moisten and brighten your eyes.

The main reasoning behind me purchasing this product was because I always seem to have dry and sometimes itchy eyes and I thought that using this product it would help. Before this product I had never used any kind of eye-drops and I was slightly scared about not being able to actually put them in my eyes.

Since buying and using this product a couple of weeks ago I have noticed a vast improvement in the looks and feel of my eyes. I have since purchased a couple more bottle of this product, as I can;t do without it now!

I would certainly recommend it for anyone who has dry or easily irritated eyes, or who wants a brighter eyes look.

Belated Birthday Presents Post...(photo heavy)

This post is well-over due, but I thought I would still share with you all some of the lovely gifts I received for my 21st birthday!

(*I am not bragging about the presents I received from my birthday, but I thought I would share some photographs of the lovely gifts I received*)

I received so many goodies, which I'm so grateful for! Lush products, Argento earrings, a Paperchase scrapbook, perfume and so many other lovely presents!

My lovely sister also made big photo collages which she put up for my birthday party! (Some very embarrassing photographs!)

One of the presents from my parents was my birthday cake (above), it was made my managers mother, from some photographs I sent her! I was so happy with it and didn't want to cut it at all!

New Apocalips Rimmel Lipgloss Review...

After perusing the shelves of boots I thought, after seeing many ads for these lip glosses, that I would give them a try! There are actually six different shades to try, but below are the three that I decided to purchase.

I have been wearing these lip glosses like crazy, switching shade everyday! I think it's brilliant to have these range of lip glosses which are so strong and powerful in colour and not to mention their staying power when applied.

So here are the swatches of the three shades I purchased. From left to right Steller, Celestial and Apocaliptic.

Each lip-gloss is £5.99, however at the time when I bought these Boots were doing an offer on these for 2 for £10! I usually don't spend that much on a lip-gloss, but are fantastic and in my opinion definitely worth the money!

P.s I will be giving away one of the Apocalips Lip-glosses in my Giveaway which is coming at the end of this week! So look out for that I you want to be in with a chance of winning one of these lip-glosses and lots of other amazing stuff!!

Lush Haul...

It has been quite a while since I have been in Lush, so I took full advantage while on a trip to Belfast the other day. Is it just me or who else would LOVE to work in Lush???

Usually I only purchase the Lush soaps and the bath ballistics, but I have been reading a lot of wonderful reviews about other lush products. I thought I would give this facial scrub a try and it smells very refreshing, so I can't wait to give this one a go!

I have tried this soap before, and it is actually one of my favorites, I also did a review if this soap a while ago here

After talking to one of the lovely employees in Lush about my need to find a great conditioner or hair mask, she kindly recommend this one for the treatment of dry hair. This hair mask does not smell the nicest, but if it works I really won't mind!

This bath ballistic is called Honey Bee and smells wonderfully sweet. Ian too excited to try this one and the other products in fact, so look out for a lot of reviews coming soon!!

Have you tried any amazing product from Lush Lately??

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Nail Treatment (Quick) Review...

Confession time...I have a terrible habit. A habit of biting my nails. (DUNDUNDUN...) Okay so it might not be a big deal to many people as lots and lots of people do it....but the thing it I HATE IT!

It isn't the act itself I hate, but I really can't stand my nails being really short. As I have this dislike for my nails being short I often wear fake nails, but sadly after removing my fake nails just the other day I found my real nails to be terrible condition...broken, short and very unhealthy looking.

After searching for nail products to help repair my nails, I stumbled upon this Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Nail Treatment in Boots.
It was the 'Maximum Growth' part of this product which really caught my eye and I instantly began picturing my nails grown long and super healthy.

I have only been using this for a couple of weeks now, but I have already notice how much stronger my naul shave become. Which actually surprised me as my nails are usually very brittle and prone to breaking very easily!

July GlossyBox...

I was very excited when I began seeing lots of other bloggers and youtubers' posting photos and videos of the July Glossy Box. I would have paid for the box on it's own... it's a lovely shade of blue and just scream summer! It really makes me want to go to the beach!

At first glance into the box I was very happy with the contents. This fist product which caught my eye was the brand name Essie within the box. At that by itself got me very excited as I have never actually tried any Essie product!! (I know major shocker!!)

These Essie sleek nail sticks look amazing and I can't wait to try them! I haven't tried any nail wraps before, so I will have to experiment with these to see how they turn out! This product from Essie actually costs £9.99 for one set.

I had no idea what this product was until I began reading the description in the booklet. This Anatomicals Spray misty for me facial spritz is a spray to refresh and hydrate the skin. I really liked the fact that this one was a full size, in order for me to really try the product!

Many of the times I have found hair styling product I have shied away from using them for fear of making my hair greasy or sticky. However I have tested this product out very quickly this morning and I really liked the results!I was also quite surprised that this product did add volume and texture to my hair, which I loved!

The two Sleek Pout Paints which I received were 156 Peachy Keen and on the left 161 Minx. Both of these shades are gorgeous and I can't wait to test these little bad boys out!

And.... finally the last item is Coola Organic Suncare Collection. This is just a little tube of this tinted Mineral Suncare product, but I can't wait to give this product a try, because with the brilliant weather we have been having I'm obsessing with finding really great Suncare products.
