August 2014- GlossyBox

Hello everyone!

Today's post is going to be on what I received inside my August Glossybox! The little insert which you usually find in the boxes, which explains what products you have received and a little information about what the products are. Within this little leaflet was a 'Thank You' section from the Founder and Global CEO of GlossyBox in celebration of Glossyboxes' 3rd Anniversary.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer
Even after reading the instructions of this product I was a little confused at what exactly is was (I was convinced it was a conditioner) just shows I shouldn't skim read things! This product is a pre-shampooing treatment, which apparently adds bounce, shine and manageability! Who wouldn't want their hair to have all of those things?!
SkinPep Hydra Sun Defence SPF30 Day Cream
Again this is a brand and product I have never heard of. Considering I live in county where we have more rainy days than sunny ones and I am not going anywhere on holiday any time soon, I'm not sure if I will actually get using this product. Instead, I might pass it on to a family member who is going on holiday, which might be useful to them!

Figs and Rouge Mini hand cream
When I first glanced into my box this was the first product I saw and I have to admit I was worried it was the Figs and Rouge Lip product, which I received in a previous Glossybox. The lip product was a little bit too sticky and grainy for my liking, so I can't wait to see what I make of this product. Although I really do LOVE the packaging of the Figs and Rouge product!!

L'amour Lalique perfume sample
This perfume smells divine! I'm pretty sure I have smelt it before, or at least I know someone who wears it, as it smells really familiar!

Yves Rocher Nail polish #14 Rose
I absolutely love this shade! It actually reminds me of the O.P.I shade Hawaiian Orchid, however this Yves Rocher nail polish seems much more of a deeper and stronger shade of pink, which I love!

Kryolan For Glossybox Highlighter
This is a highlighter made for Glossybox, which is a lightweight cream that can be used on cheekbones or lips for ' a natural looking glow.' I'm really excited to use this product and begin to test it out as it says this product is versatile.

So that is it for this months Glossybox and I'm pleased with the products I have received. I find I say this each time I review or post about what I receive in my Glossyboxes, but I love getting brands I have never heard of and products I most likely would never be able to try!

What do you all think about what I received in this months box??

Barry M Gelly Nail paints

 Hello everyone!

I picked up these Gelly BarryM nail paints after long last! It seemed everyone and their granny were trying and testing these nail paints...everyone except me that is!

Left to Right Coconut, Blue Grape, Papaya, Lilac

I can't wait to get testing these nail paints and to find out what all the hype was surrounding them!

Have you tried any of the Gelly nail paints?

July 2014 GlossyBox- Stars And Stripes

Hello there!

And a very big happy and belated 4th of July to all you Americans out there! It seems GlossyBox has went all out this year for their July box and dedicated it to an American theme! Oh...and this has to be the best box/packaging I have EVER seen!!!

So lets take a wee look at what was inside!

Carmex Lip Balm-
This is actually one lip balm/moisturiser that I have been meaning to try this product for quite some time as it always looks so bright and appealing. So I can't wait to try this little pot of lip balm, with its conditioning and moisturising properties.

Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer- I normally just stick to my reliable Urban Decay eyeshadow potion to prime my eyelids before using eyeshadow. However it would be great to find another brilliant eyeshadow primer product!

Mary Kay Cosmetics, Lash Love Mascara
This is another product which I have never tried (or even heard of!)
"US best seller, Lash Love Mascara defines, defend, and delivers up to four times more volume." Sounds brilliant and it also says it contains vitamin E to help strengthen lashes and I am all for that!

Colour Club, Glossy Seal
This is a lovely full size nail polish in the shade Glossy Seal, which has been created just for Glossybox! I love the shade of this nail polish and I love it even more after reading that it I made with non-toxic and cruelty free ingredients!

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd,Mineral Lipstick
Oh this is my favourite product from the whole box. The shade of the lipstick is called Cat Walk and is super smooth after application, it almost feels moisturising at the same time! Love it! The price for this lippy is £20, which is usually a lot more that I pay for my lipsticks, so I was very happy to receive this in the box!

So my final thought on this months Glossybox??

Yet another fantastic box filled with new products which I can't wait to try! And considering I only paid £10 +P&P, the items within this box really exceeded the amount spent! So in my opinion definitely worth it!

Models Own Nail Polish Haul!

This is my Models Own Nail polish Haul from the Half price sale they were having. I actually didn't find out about the sale until, practically the last minute when I saw someones blog post about it!

This is actually my first time purchasing and trying Models Own nail polishes, so I'm very excited! Unfortunately the sale is over now, but here are the items I purchased.

I thought the Sale which they had on was brilliant! Once you added the items you wanted to your basket, added the half price code and like magic...the total halved! It was such a bargain getting the nail polish for just £2.50 each instead of £5.00!

From Left to Right

I honestly don't know which shade I am more excited about trying! I did, in some terms, play it safe with the shades I chose like the red and the pink, but I thought I might a swell purchase some staple nail colours as well as trying a few different ones!

Have you tried any of the Models Own Nail Polishes? What shades are your favourite?
