Review:// Zoella Fizz Bar

 Hello everyone!

I purchased this Fizz Bar by Zoella from Superdrug a few weeks ago when they cam out in the shops. But I have only now got round to actually using it! I saw quite a lot of hype and talk surrounding the launch of the Zoella
products, so I decided to try it for myself.

The scent of the Fizz bar is very light, fresh and what I would describe as a clean scent. However my only negative point about the fizz bar was that once added into the bath I found it hard to smell the scent with the bath water. That is my only (very small) negative about this bar, as I really love everything else bout it!

The packaging in my opinion is gorgeous and very sophisticated in regards to the colours and design of the wrapper. The bar itself is very cute, engraved with a 'Z' in each cube.

So that is it for this quick little review of just one of the cute Zoella products, available here for anyone that is interested! I am actually intrigued to try out the  bath cream and body lotion aswell!

Have you tried any of the Zoella products yet???

Nails Inc Glamour...

Hello everyone!

Today I thought I would share with you all a really great find in Glamour magazine. In the December issue there was a free Nails Inc London nail polish, with a couple of different colours to choose from I picked the red shade which is Tate.

I really love it when I find a free item in a magazine that I would actually use! Excuse the messy nail painting, but I was in a bit of a rush putting this on (I clearly got too excited to try a new nail polish!)

Have you received any great free items recently?

Glossy Box // December 2014

 Hello everyone!

I have been anticipating this December Glossybox for months now! With the festive season already upon us, it was a lovely additional surprise to receive a very festive looking glossy box! So lets take a look inside at what I received!

 1. Anatomicals Zap! Zap! Zap! Day and night spot stick-
I believe I have only ever received a product by Anatomicals once before in a glossy-box, so I was quite excited to see this product in this months glossy-box. My skin tends to be very temperamental at times, so I will be interested to see if this product helps when my skin breaks out!

2.  SkinPep Hydra Boost Acid serum-
With all this cold weather, I can't wait to test out this skin hydration serum on my dry skin! I have received a couple of different sample size SkinPep products, which I actually enjoyed using! So fingers crossed this particular product works!

3. TRESemme Renewal hair and scalp tonic-
The full size bottle of this Tresemme  Renewal tonic was the first product to catch my eye when I first opened my box. I normally use a wide range of Tresemme products, but this is one I haven't even heard of before and I can't wait to try it!

4. All That Jazz Professional Nail Lacquer-
Getting into the Christmas spirit lately I have been loving glitter and sparkly nail polishes, especially those from the Barry M range! However this sparkly top coat (Lauren's Miss fancy pants) looks amazing! One of these nail polishes from this range is actually priced at £9.98!

5. Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek and Lip stain
In past glossy- boxes I have received a Bellapierre lipstick and also a lip gloss and I have loved both products! The shade I received was coral and looks much brighter in the photo, however it doesn't actually come out as vivid (thankfully!)

Overall I am super happy with all of the items I received in this months box, in a way glossy box redeemed itself in my books as I was getting a little disheartened with some of the products in the other past boxes. With items that where only sample size to products I couldn't or wouldn't use. However this months box has totally reminded me why I love buying and receiving these beauty boxes!

Have you received any great products within any Glossyboxes lately??

Glossybox // September: Karen Millen Edition

Hello everyone!

So I am a little behind schedule posting this months Glossybox photos, but here it is better late than never! This months Glossybox was designed by Karen Millen and is probably my favourite Glossybox design by far! The beautiful illustration of the London skyline is super pretty and the packaging of this box on a whole is very sophisticated looking!

For me this is a great product to have received in this Glossybox. I am always buying and testing out different hair masks, my favourite at that moment actually being a Dove hair repair mask. The hair dye that I usually use is actually L'Oreal and I have tried a L'Oreal conditioner, so I have high hopes for this Mythic oil hair mask conditioner.

I was quite nice to see a familiar product in this box as I do actually use some Vichy skin care products. I sometimes don't like receiving sample sized products, as I do forget to use them and they are wasted! But as for these two I will definitely be using them because they are Vichy!

I honestly had no idea what I was looking at when I pulled these out of the box. Two of the sachets are Brightening Enzyme & Acid Peels, which I have to admit kinda scares me! And the other sachet is a dark circle eraser, which I think would be great to try even thought I don't have a huge problem with dark circles, but it can't hurt to try!

I was very intrigued with the next two items. The first being a Nails Inc. Matte nail polish, which when I first saw it I thought it was just a plain clear nail polish. After reading up on it, I can't wait to try it! Once applied, the nail polish gives a matte affect to the colour of nail polish you have on!

The item which really excited me was the More Brows eye brow gel. I do usually shape and fill in my eye brows with a light brown pencil. So I will be excited to see the results after using this gel, however just from looking at the shade it may be a little too light of a shade.

Well...that is it for this months Glossy box post! I will be getting back into the blogging swing of things after taking a little break there, but it is good to be back!

So have you tried any of the product received or do you want to try any of them?

Nivea Express Hydration Primer Review

Hello everyone!

From some of my other posts and haul posts, you may notice that I use and enjoy many Nivea products. The reason being that I have slightly sensitive skin, which is prone to (at times) quite bad breakouts of spots.

So many of the products I use and try on my skin are products which I find do not aggravate my skin and at the same time help to keep my skin healthy and moisturised, which is something I find many of the Nivea skincare products do!

Since beginning to use this Express Hydration Primer, I have notice that my make-up actually looks much better at the end of the day. Usually, depending what make-up I have used, by the end of the night my make-up can look a little dried out. However since using this primer my foundation has stayed in place, and looks better for so much longer!

Another positive point about this product is how it is quickly and easily absorbed once applied to the skin. It almost feels like I have not applied anything to my skin, as it is a light wearable product.

New Boohoo Boots

 Hello everyone!

This is one of my recent purchases from Boohoo and they are the Izzy Elastic insert pull on boot. I have been lusting after these for quite some time and since we are quickly coming out of summer (especially in my part of the world) I thought it was time for me to get a pair of these boots!

These little bad boys are £30.00 and I got them in a size 3 which is a perfect snug fit for me! I cannot wait to start wearing these and pairing them with outfits and wearing them!

Lost At Sea...

Hello everyone!

Today's post is an excited one! After seeing so many other peoples blogs posts and Instagram photos of purchases from Lost At Sea I thought it was time that I too made a purchase or rather purchases! Below are the three purchases I made.. and let me tell you it was hard to limit myself to just three! I could have went mad on there and bought everything...actually I think at one point I had about 10 items in my basket...TOO MANY PRETTY THINGS!!

This is the wire wrapped opal necklace and I really liked how the Opalite is contained and wrapped within the wire. This necklace is available is two different length sizes 18" or 24", I actually went for the 24" as I preferred to have the necklace slightly longer.

When I first saw a Lost At Sea piece of jewellery, it was a photo of this necklace on a instagram account and it was then I knew..I had to have it! This is the Large Amethyst point necklace and this photo does not do it justice! There was no length choice available for this necklace, which I was slightly worried about, but it turned out to be fine and I love it!

And this is the final item I purchased from Lost At Sea, a 90's Style Daisy Choker necklace. There are quite a few of these cute choker necklaces, but this Daisy one was definitely my favourite!

So that is it guys for this post, if you want to find out more about each of the item I bought I have linked each one in the little description under their pictures for more info!

Do you own any Lost At Sea jewellery??

Monthly Favourites // August

Hello everyone!

Here is a round up of some products I have been loving through-out the month of August! Some of the product are things I use quite frequently, but that think to be in my monthly favourites list!

Garnier Ultra-Softening Lotion Shea Butter
I have tried a couple of different scents and variations of this Intensive 7 days body lotion and I have liked them all. However I think I would have to say that this is probably my favourite scent of all the Garnier Body lotions. This body moisturiser is defiantly one of the better ones, its absorbs really fast once applied and leaves skin hydrated and moisturised.

Bourjois Blusher 48 Ashes of Roses
I have quite a few different shades of Bourjois Blushers and they have become quite a build-up collection in my make-up stash. This shade is quite a strong and deep rose shade, so with this a little really does go a lonnnggg way!

Sally Hansen Nail polish, Shade: Vitamin Sea
I have tried a few of these Sally Hansen nail polishes and I have loved all of them! But I particularly LOVE this one because of the beautiful shade! I find that these nail polishes are brilliant quality have fantastic results after being applied.

Burt's Bees Honey and Grapeseed Hand cream
This is a relatively new product to me, but I have been using it non-stop since I bought it. I love using and trying new hand cream and I think this is by far the best smelling hand cream I have used to date. Not to mention it is (in my opinion) a brilliant working product, since beginning to use if I have notice my hands being a lot smoother and in better moisturised condition.

Real Techniques Contour Brush
This brush was in a set of Real technique brushes which I bought quite a while ago. I think I also purchased a stippling brush and a buffing brush, but this contour brush was my favourite and most used brush. The brush itself, like the other Real techniques brushes, is of great quality and is the perfect shape and size for contouring.

So that is it for this months product favourites. I am going to try my best and be a little more regimented with my posts, as I really want to be writing these type of posts monthly and sticking to it!

Have you tried any of the products above???

L'Oreal Top Coat Nail Confetti

Hello everyone!

I thought today I would share with you all the Top coat nail confetti from L'oreal. I love the use other sparkly top caot nail polishes, but the black and white confetti top coat, I think is very cute and quirky!

This is the finish result after I applied the black and white top coat confetti to my Models own red nail polish. I really love the results of this nail polish, even after one coat the black and white confetti do show up quite well, however I feel to get a better result at least two coats of confetti should be applied.

Have you tried any Top Coat nail Confetti???

Bargain Finds...

 Hello there everyone!

Today's post is a little different than my usual posts, but I thought it would be great to share the recent purchases from a charity event. The charity was an animal sanctuary near by, which had lots of stalls and some really great finds!

I bought these gorgeous scarves for around 50p -£1 each! I absolutely love the vintage print on some of them and I'm very proud of my bargain hunting skills after finding these wee beauties!

August 2014- GlossyBox

Hello everyone!

Today's post is going to be on what I received inside my August Glossybox! The little insert which you usually find in the boxes, which explains what products you have received and a little information about what the products are. Within this little leaflet was a 'Thank You' section from the Founder and Global CEO of GlossyBox in celebration of Glossyboxes' 3rd Anniversary.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer
Even after reading the instructions of this product I was a little confused at what exactly is was (I was convinced it was a conditioner) just shows I shouldn't skim read things! This product is a pre-shampooing treatment, which apparently adds bounce, shine and manageability! Who wouldn't want their hair to have all of those things?!
SkinPep Hydra Sun Defence SPF30 Day Cream
Again this is a brand and product I have never heard of. Considering I live in county where we have more rainy days than sunny ones and I am not going anywhere on holiday any time soon, I'm not sure if I will actually get using this product. Instead, I might pass it on to a family member who is going on holiday, which might be useful to them!

Figs and Rouge Mini hand cream
When I first glanced into my box this was the first product I saw and I have to admit I was worried it was the Figs and Rouge Lip product, which I received in a previous Glossybox. The lip product was a little bit too sticky and grainy for my liking, so I can't wait to see what I make of this product. Although I really do LOVE the packaging of the Figs and Rouge product!!

L'amour Lalique perfume sample
This perfume smells divine! I'm pretty sure I have smelt it before, or at least I know someone who wears it, as it smells really familiar!

Yves Rocher Nail polish #14 Rose
I absolutely love this shade! It actually reminds me of the O.P.I shade Hawaiian Orchid, however this Yves Rocher nail polish seems much more of a deeper and stronger shade of pink, which I love!

Kryolan For Glossybox Highlighter
This is a highlighter made for Glossybox, which is a lightweight cream that can be used on cheekbones or lips for ' a natural looking glow.' I'm really excited to use this product and begin to test it out as it says this product is versatile.

So that is it for this months Glossybox and I'm pleased with the products I have received. I find I say this each time I review or post about what I receive in my Glossyboxes, but I love getting brands I have never heard of and products I most likely would never be able to try!

What do you all think about what I received in this months box??

Burt's Bees Basics Hand cream and Lip balm Review

Hello everyone!

Today's post is going to be a review post on a product I have been wanting to try for a really long time! I bought the Burt's Bees basics set, which consists of the Honey & Grapeseed Hand cream and the Honey Lip balm, from feelunique.com

The packaging itself, with the yellow box and little bee, it is overall very cute! And I think this would make a lovely little additional present for someone!

Honey Lip Balm

This is the Honey lip balm which contain vitamin E. The lip balm itself doesn't have a fake honey smell to it, as of course it does say that the products are made with 100% natural ingredients. However I was a little unsure of what the scent of this product was going to be like and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the scent.

Honey & Grapeseed Hand Cream

This hand cream smells so much better than I could have imagined! The honey mixed with the grapeseed gives such a wonderful scent, which actually last on your hands! The fact that this hand cream's scent lasts is a huge positive for me,I hate when hand cream smells great but the scent and basically the product disappears almost instantly!

So overall I'm so pleased with these two Burt's Bees products! And I can definitely see myself re-purchasing the hand cream in the near future, I am quite addicted to using it already!

Have you tried any Burt's Bees products? What do you think of them?
