Superdrug Make-up Haul // April 2015

Hello everyone!

Today I have a lovely Superdrug make-up haul to show everyone! I picked up these items in the last few weeks and some were one offer for 3 for 2! Happy days!

I haven't used many Gosh items before, but the few I have tried I have really loved! So I decided to test out a few more! I picked up the Crazy Volume Mascara -£6.99, the Forever lip shine in Lady Like -£6.99 and Velvet Touch 131 Amethyst lipstick- £6.99.

After having a noisy about some of the make-up stands, I was intrigued in the new L'oreal duo nail polish in the shade 011 Red Infaillible. I have quickly tried out this product since bringing it home and I love it already! The second item I purchased is the Maybelline Super stay 14hour lipstick in the shade 260 Always Plum. I also picked up my usual, staple Rimmel wake me up foundation in light porcelain.

The last three items I picked up, on the 3 for 2 offer along with the free #makeup bag, the new Sunset Daylight curing nail paints. I have seen these nail polishes everywhere lately, so much so that I had to get them to try them for myself! I chose two shades, Out of my red, Fuchsia Generation and of course the topcoat aswell, which are all £4.99 each.

So that is all the make-up items I have recently purchased in the last wee while. I have also filmed a youtube haul video, so you can check that out if you want to see a little bit more on each of the products!

Have you tried any new make-up products recently?

GlossyBox April 2015- Limited Iconic Hollywood Edition

Hello everyone!

These lovely photos are of the limited edition Glossybox for April 2015. I received this box just the other day and I was so happy with it when I opened to find it was a limited edition box! I really do prefer receiving these types of boxes as I love the designs of the boxes and the different themed products.

Lord & Berry Lipstick pencil in Kiss-  This Lord & Berry lipstick pencil is the most exciting item within this months box. I believe this is the first Lord & berry product I have and the fact it is a lip product is all the more exciting! The shade is a very bright red shade and the lipstick is also has a matte finish which I prefer when it comes to lip products.

Astral Original Moisturiser-  I have seen tubs of this face and body moisturiser many times in the shops, however it was never something I would specifically think of purchasing. Since it is getting closer to summer it would be great to find a really good moisturiser for the times when my skin gets a little dryer.

POP Beauty Kajal eyeliner pen-  Before opening this months box I had never heard of this brand before, however it does look quite good as it come with a smudger on one of the ends of the pencil. I myself prefer liquid eyeliners, as I find I can actually apply it much better than eyeliner pencils.

Colour Club Nail polish-  I have previously received one of these nail polishes in a Glossybox about a year ago, however the last one was a gorgeous blue shade. This Colour club nail polish is in the shade Barely There, which is a light nude shade. I normally wear brighter colours on my nails, so I'm afraid I might not get much use out of this nail polish.

IDC Body Lotion-  The last and final item I received in this months box is a cute sized bottle of Lavender body lotion. Unfortunately a couple of years ago I had a bad reaction to a heated lavender pillow, so I most likely won't be trying this product and I will probably just pass it on to someone in my family.

Overall I am very pleased with the limited edition box I received, even though there are some items which I particularly can't use. I think this has been one of my favourite limited edition boxes I have received in my time getting Glossyboxes.

What do you think of the Iconic Hollywood edition Glossybox??

Review: Revolution Make-up Sugar and Spice Blush Palette

Hello everyone!

Today I would like to share with you all a review and swatches of one of the revolution blush palettes I bought for just £6!! I recently bought quite a few items from Superdrug and the Revolution make-up range. The other items I picked up were eyeshadow palettes, which I have been super impressed with already!

This is the first time I have ever tried a Blush palette, as I normally purchase single blush pots. Having this palette with 8 highly pigmented blushers is super exciting! I think the excitement comes from the fact that there is a lot more choice involved with a palette and that is why a normally prefer to also buy eyeshadow palettes rather than single shadows.

Below is a close-up photo of the blushers themselves and a photo of the blushers swatched as they are in order in the palette.

Each shade is very highly pigmented and it doesn't take a lot of product to become visible when applying to to the skin. I would say that only two of the shades would be what I call natural blushers, because most of the others are quite strong colours.

I have to say that overall I am super happy with this Revolution blush palette and I can't wait to try out some of the other blush palettes!

Have you try any of the Revolution palettes yet?

Haul //- Lily-Flame Candles

Hello everyone!

Eeek! I'm super excited to share some recent purchases with you all! I am super excited to now own four lovely Lily-Flame candles. I can't believe how pretty these candles are and why I have not purchased them before now! These candles have made my self-pampering nights so much more relaxing.

So the four candles I have are Blush, Daisy Dip, Dolly Rocker and Powder Puff. I really like all of the scents, but I have to admit that I have my favourite, which is Daisy Dip. This scent actually reminds me of the Calvin Klein perfume Eternity which smells amazing!

Both only do the Lily flame candles smell amazing, but look really pretty too! To be honest even if these candles were plain and not scented, I would still purchase them based on their appearence.

To check out the candles for yourself, you can go straight to their website here. I however bought mine from a local shop, but I could be tempted to go on and purchases some of their other gorgeous smelly items!

Have you tired any of the Lily-Flame candles?

Limited Edition: Lush Pot O' Gold Review!

Hello everyone!

Today I thought I would share with you all this little treat I picked up in Lush a while ago. At first I wasn't that all impressed with the scent of this one, I was imaging something a lot different than what it is.

However once I used the jelly in the shower I found I liked the scent much better! I actually been using this non-stop in the shower since I bought it. The pot which I got was the 100g, which I think is the only option for this shower jelly. Just like the other shower jellies are priced, this pot is just £3.50 which in my opinion totally worth the money.

The jelly itself has a gold shimmery look with flakes of gold glitter inside. The glitter isn't that noticeable when used directly onto your skin with water, but some of the glitter does come off even when just touching the jelly.

I have before used one of the shower jellies, which I friend kindly bought me for my birthday. I believe it was the Whoosh jelly, which had a gorgeous sweet smell. It actually saddens me that this is a limited edition shower jelly as it has really grown on me and I would most likely purchase it again.

Have you been lucky enough to try the lush Pot o' Gold??
