Glossybox // September: Karen Millen Edition

Hello everyone!

So I am a little behind schedule posting this months Glossybox photos, but here it is better late than never! This months Glossybox was designed by Karen Millen and is probably my favourite Glossybox design by far! The beautiful illustration of the London skyline is super pretty and the packaging of this box on a whole is very sophisticated looking!

For me this is a great product to have received in this Glossybox. I am always buying and testing out different hair masks, my favourite at that moment actually being a Dove hair repair mask. The hair dye that I usually use is actually L'Oreal and I have tried a L'Oreal conditioner, so I have high hopes for this Mythic oil hair mask conditioner.

I was quite nice to see a familiar product in this box as I do actually use some Vichy skin care products. I sometimes don't like receiving sample sized products, as I do forget to use them and they are wasted! But as for these two I will definitely be using them because they are Vichy!

I honestly had no idea what I was looking at when I pulled these out of the box. Two of the sachets are Brightening Enzyme & Acid Peels, which I have to admit kinda scares me! And the other sachet is a dark circle eraser, which I think would be great to try even thought I don't have a huge problem with dark circles, but it can't hurt to try!

I was very intrigued with the next two items. The first being a Nails Inc. Matte nail polish, which when I first saw it I thought it was just a plain clear nail polish. After reading up on it, I can't wait to try it! Once applied, the nail polish gives a matte affect to the colour of nail polish you have on!

The item which really excited me was the More Brows eye brow gel. I do usually shape and fill in my eye brows with a light brown pencil. So I will be excited to see the results after using this gel, however just from looking at the shade it may be a little too light of a shade.

Well...that is it for this months Glossy box post! I will be getting back into the blogging swing of things after taking a little break there, but it is good to be back!

So have you tried any of the product received or do you want to try any of them?

Nivea Express Hydration Primer Review

Hello everyone!

From some of my other posts and haul posts, you may notice that I use and enjoy many Nivea products. The reason being that I have slightly sensitive skin, which is prone to (at times) quite bad breakouts of spots.

So many of the products I use and try on my skin are products which I find do not aggravate my skin and at the same time help to keep my skin healthy and moisturised, which is something I find many of the Nivea skincare products do!

Since beginning to use this Express Hydration Primer, I have notice that my make-up actually looks much better at the end of the day. Usually, depending what make-up I have used, by the end of the night my make-up can look a little dried out. However since using this primer my foundation has stayed in place, and looks better for so much longer!

Another positive point about this product is how it is quickly and easily absorbed once applied to the skin. It almost feels like I have not applied anything to my skin, as it is a light wearable product.

New Boohoo Boots

 Hello everyone!

This is one of my recent purchases from Boohoo and they are the Izzy Elastic insert pull on boot. I have been lusting after these for quite some time and since we are quickly coming out of summer (especially in my part of the world) I thought it was time for me to get a pair of these boots!

These little bad boys are £30.00 and I got them in a size 3 which is a perfect snug fit for me! I cannot wait to start wearing these and pairing them with outfits and wearing them!

Lost At Sea...

Hello everyone!

Today's post is an excited one! After seeing so many other peoples blogs posts and Instagram photos of purchases from Lost At Sea I thought it was time that I too made a purchase or rather purchases! Below are the three purchases I made.. and let me tell you it was hard to limit myself to just three! I could have went mad on there and bought everything...actually I think at one point I had about 10 items in my basket...TOO MANY PRETTY THINGS!!

This is the wire wrapped opal necklace and I really liked how the Opalite is contained and wrapped within the wire. This necklace is available is two different length sizes 18" or 24", I actually went for the 24" as I preferred to have the necklace slightly longer.

When I first saw a Lost At Sea piece of jewellery, it was a photo of this necklace on a instagram account and it was then I knew..I had to have it! This is the Large Amethyst point necklace and this photo does not do it justice! There was no length choice available for this necklace, which I was slightly worried about, but it turned out to be fine and I love it!

And this is the final item I purchased from Lost At Sea, a 90's Style Daisy Choker necklace. There are quite a few of these cute choker necklaces, but this Daisy one was definitely my favourite!

So that is it guys for this post, if you want to find out more about each of the item I bought I have linked each one in the little description under their pictures for more info!

Do you own any Lost At Sea jewellery??
